How To Make Muruku~

Ok ok.. i've always gotten teased by my hometown frens.. Just cause i'm india everyone presume i suddenly have a degree in indian culinary arts. So this is to shut all of them up once n for all =) ahahahahaha

Seeteng & I made muruku last weekend.. hehe.. Here's proof



How did it turn out? Hmmm for our 1st time, i think it turned out pretty awesome.. AHAHAHA so bias =s This is Indian as i get =.=

First of all, i wanna introduce to my favouritest photog. Thanks for the tedious job to entertain me and my crazy antics. Thanks for keeping with my constant 'Take me Take me' attitude. This is a photog who is devoted to his passion, who's 24/7 at every event, sweating it out getting the best shots. With 5 days of Utsav, and everyday, his work is shown on the projector screens. Where Did The Lights Go?

Earth Hour was the Hype and will be The Hype for the next say... 8 days or so. Being typical self-absorbed human being who only remember the tragedies went it happen, then continue to live in our over-indulgent life. Remember Katrina? Or the countless death by Tsunami?

Oh well, i always believe something IS better than nothing, so i hoped everyone DID switch off their lights during that hour. It all began in 07 in Sydney, whr 2.2mil homes & industries switch off their lights. In 2008, it reached 50 million. This year, taking it to a larger scale, being a global Earth Hour, the aim, 1 billion. Did u do your part? I know my parents are having candle light dinner during Earth Hour sipping on Vintage Merlot & slicing thru my mums delish Sirloin Steak... (see.. i miss home already)

Then again, Earth Hour is almost every other hour here in India with their extensive frequent power cuts! =) And there u are saying the slumdogs dun care bout the Earth! Hahaha~ We do it everyday! *high Fives*

A New Combination~

So, Utsav week is officially over & MMMC did their worst ever! hahahaha For the 1st time we only won 1 single event, which was solo western dance. In which Elora fr batch 23 did a ballet contemporary dance. Oh, that means my group dance flunked~ ahahahahaha But BUT! i'm convinced we got 4th place =) hehe
Well, wat do u expect when u only got 1 day to prepare for a competition this big a scale =) At least i had tonnes of fun doing it (self-comfort)

So, wats the new combo? Me & my drinking buddy, Seeteng, decided to start our own blog together, www.seipatpor-seipatgong.blogspot.com Where we do random, half of the time, ridiculous things together... Do check it out yea!

Yday was the Fashion Show event. (which is more like a costume parade lar to b honest) and i rly thought we had a good chance of winning =.= manatau, we never win again.. sien... hahahaha oh well.. there's always next year (argh! y the loser in me keep talking)

Chapter 4: We Only Got 4 Minutes To Save The Show!

U see, Utsav is on again. And this year, we were suppose to dance in it representing MMMC. But since the whole team only arrived at India on Sunday & show is on Wed, so we didn't prepare for it. Also cuz there's still so much tweaking n improvement that can b done from our last performance.

But Mdm Surekha insisted that we go ahead n try it. Since MMMC is having ther worst UTSAV results til now. It's halfway thru and we're still 0 in score =.= usually got quite alot d. this year damn cha =) ahahahaha SO, we recruited some juniors and taught them how to dance in.. 12 hours =.= And our show's tonight at 9pm KMC Greens! Come and support ya!

It's almost like the ori, but with a few surprises! I hope it'll go smoothly~ Ok, enoguh of my 12minute rest, gtg practise again! Wish me luck!

Chapter 3: I Like Big Bugs And I Cannot Lie~

Ok lar... i didn't rly eat it.. ahahaaa.. not so brave.. i did lick it a little.. just a little. but damn scared la.. it's a bug lor =( ahaahahahaha Definitely worth the 5 baht i paid for it. Tho someone recomended i should try scorpion cuz it's like a crunchy cracker.. Not rly convince tho =) muahahaha

Chapter 1: Stripped~

Was in Chatujak market in Bangkok. Was buying pants. Was crowded.

There was a mini crowd laughing n taking my pictures thr lor =.= So paiseh... Not say got skin to see also.. adui...

Oh ya~ Have i told u? I'm back in India safely d.. But the weather is just... sigh so damn hawt u noe =.=

Chapter 6: American Idol? U be The Judge~

I'm a fan of american idol, since it started showing on astro for season 3. I remembered telling my friends and brother, Jennifer Hudson (back then, turkey foil lady due to one of her shiny silver outfits) will make it big. Then she got eliminated the following week. =.= To me there's only 2 idols by far. Carrie & Kelly. The others are... nah~ so so only. I can't stand Daughtry's nasal-tone voice & i lagi can't stand the boring Cook & Archie (dun get me wrong, i loved both davids during the show.. til they release their album.. What a load of crap)

This season, number 8. Hmmm.. well, i wasn't jumping up and down at the final 13. I like the new system tho. Whr the judges can save 1 person.. Finally a season whr sleeping with Paula actually benefits u... SO yeah, wat this season's missing is a few rly gospel black girls ala Fantasia. Instead they got a blind man, a few married men, and a few single moms & a Slumdog =.=

So, this week was country, and hell no! Half of them dun even sound country.. They pick country songs and make it so un-country! Where's the hoe-down?? Where's the Yee-Haw?? Where's Willie Nelson? Argh~

I wanna compare A.I contestants with say.. other artists who sang the same song =)

Talk of the night is probably Anoop wit a willie/elvis interpretation of 'Always on My mind'. Hmmm.. I think it's Ok~ It's much better than last week's Beat it lor.. But still, i'm not convince that he'll b an idol.. (aahhaah it has nothing to with his race, he doesn't look like an idol! He looks like russell peters for crying out loud~)

Anyway, i had alot alot of fun during my trip to KL last weekend. Caught up with some old frens, made lots of new ones. And the lists goes on=p

Chapter 3: Dtk Melaka Visits Thai~

This time around, our family trip is to Bangkok, city of angels~~ (have no idea why isit call that) I'm sure the 1st thing that jump into everybody's list of questions is "got find ah kua or not?". hahaa me so guai~ =p

Anyway, we visited a few traditional landmarks, those famous hotspots around bangkok. Erm.. no, i'm not talking about the temples or the floating market(which is a total scam i tell u).. I'm talking about the shopping malls! =)

There's Siam Paragon - I'd say the Thai version of Pavilion but kicks Pavi's butt all the way to Timbucktoo and back~ The shops are better than Pavi's, of course the usual designers Gucci, Prada, LV, YSL, Chanel, MJ, DVF, Dior & the others alike crowded the mall. Then designers u don't find in KL (i think dun have lar) like Christian Audigier (which seems to b pretty 'in' in Bangkok).Then there's GaySorn - No! I'm not joking around with the name, there is the word gay in it, and when i say i ask for directions to go Gaysorn, my dad tot i'm asking for Gay porn =.= wat the hell lor~ =p ANYHOO, Gaysorn is the fancy, over-the top, designer mall. All the big labels are here, Dior by Galiano, Ellie Saab, Donna Karan, Vera Wang... so on~ Then there's MBK center. Which is something like Sungei Wang. (immediately i can feel most of my readers go "eeeeWWW!!!! Lala-land" hahaha~ but it's not! It's like sungei wang in the sens that it had lots of immitation and lcoal desginers~ And of course thai's style is more american rather than our ala Hongky & faux harajuku style. So they got lots of fake Ed Hardy, Evisu.
I gotta be honest, before reaching Thai, i kinda thought they're more kampong than us... Cuz i've never heard of how advance they are, all i noe is sex change operation there is cheap =.= So i was kinda like amazed by how much more advance they are than KL... All the malls above, and many others like Platinum mall, Discovery centre are all located in the same area, walkable!! Via this thing called the sky bridge (i made up my own name for it, lol! )
Hehe~ So our journey mainly revolves around lots of shopping in all these malls, including to the famous Chatujak market & Khaosan Night Market. Aaron: J, run inside thr, pretend u're trapped!!

They were having something sorta lika 100 designs to save the world, and it's placed all over the mall. Basically 100 design students use recyclable materials and make something new, like this giant plastic bottle thingy i'm standing next to =.=

This is another structure all over the streets, this one is some sculpture made from bolt n nuts... & it looks pretty awesome~

So oh well, this is mainly how we are, noisy to the max... Can't wait for the next trip~ =) we're taking over the world, 1 city at a time...!

Chapter 1: Thanks~ & Happy Bday To Me~~

Ok so technically, my bday was yesterday, and thanks to everyone who wished me =p Hehe~ I'm not a big celebration kinda guy, so i didn't plan any party or whatsoever. But at 12am, i was midway of KL & Melaka. Then when i reached melaka, i met up with some frens and went for a short drink @jonkers.

So yeah, i wanna thank everyone who wished me & for their presents. =p Just a short post to let u guys noe i've return from Bangkok~ Will blog about it soon. & I'll b heading down to KL this weekend 1 last time b4 flying off to India again.

Oh yea~ hahaha. Just need to camwhore abit =p... bear with me

Chapter 6: Little Nyonya & Baba Aaron

Was recomneded this Singaporean Tv Drama, Little Nyonya by a few of my friends. Haha. Not being a fan of chinese drama, i decided to gv it a shot.. And thankfully they have english subtitles. Streaming it on youtube thx to the user MediaCorpFan.

Each episode is a typical 40 minutes, and they have 35episodes.. =) hahaa when i started off, i was like.. Wahlao.. so slow the show... And 1st night i watch til episode 3... I nearly fell asleep dunno how many times.. But i guess the fact that it's in Melaka, which make me so proud. Dunno y i keep promoting my tiny state =.= (Go Melaka! ) Everytime anyone see me online, the 1st thing they'll ask is "You nyonya-ing ka?" Lol~ I'm so addicted, day 2 saw me reaching episode 12. The drama starts getting to me. Every character starts linking up to each other. This show is definitely not for the weak hearted.

Day 3, episode 23.... Gosh~ hahahahahaa =p Here's wat u should prepare for. The lead actress (who plays 2 character, which wears the same clothes and have the same position, except one can talk and the other can't) has suffer the following as off now,

• seduced every single man who laid eyes on her, i tried counting, but at least 9 ba.
• Her mum n her together, almost kena rape... 5-6 times (once almost got sold as prostitute tim)
• Nearly drown twice, once in the ocean (kena push down my some bitches) second time into a well (kena push by that bitch's daughter)
• Kena slap countless times.. Aiyo i refuse to count after she became the community slap-receiver.
• Kena blackmail & threaten at least 3 times in 1 episode...
• Got marriage proposals by... 4 ppl d.
• Has cooked her 'Chor Chor pleasing' Rempah Udang 3 times. (kena scold by my fren for not bringing him to makan these stuff the last time he was here =p)
• Been forced to cook nyonya dish for almost everyone, it's like her ticket to everything...
• Shed tears in almost every episode...

It's just too much to list the amount of suffering she endure.. Haha..

And of course, my different positions watching the show... everytime my mum opens the door, i'm at a diff pose. And she even joined me tonight til like 2.30am den she realised she needs to work tomoro =.=

Chapter 3: DSLR-ing

No no no, before everyone jumps into the "Oh, U got a DSLR?" hahaha i don't. But my dad does! =p Nothing great la, just a sony-a. It's a present from the siblings for his bday =) So, obviously, the 1st thing i gotta do is run around the house taking pic. Hahahaha. I kinda feel everyone who owns a DSLR kinda feel they're immediately a better photographer. Hahahaha~ But i still am the same... Still taking shots of myself ahahahahahaa~

Perhaps the most fav-ed style of DSLR-ing. The Macro. Everyone will brag their macro shots, with the focus single item up front & a blurred background. Look! Profesional photography just a click a way.. =p I call this 'The Nona'. Isit even a nona fruit? =.=

A-von!!!! ahahaaaha =) avon is just a natural poser.. He loves the camera. Everytime i point the camera at him, he'll sit, roll on the floor, and just stare into the lens. Cutes!

Oh ya, did i tell u guys, i'm going to Bangkok this weekend =) excitednye~ Any thing to recomend over thr? Besides the prostitution and the tiger shows?

Chapter 2: You Make Me Wanna LaLa!

Urgh~ I hate to Lala~ It's like.. the no.1 thing NOT to do when taking a picture.. But somehow, the pictures always turn out entertaining. =) We were at Kathy's place for her Bday celebration, when they tangkap the triple A's Aaron, Andy & Alex to do the Lala poses =p kan best?

Ignore the awkward positioning of the tissue paper =.= Actually hor got super alot la, but i dowan post them cuz the rest looks extremely ridiculous =p Not like this looks good la, but the rest looks worse Hoho~
