King Of Pop, Michael Jackson has passed...

I have always been a fan of the Moon Walker. The person responsible to shape Pop music, to give the divided world a common love, Himself. Who could deny growing up not listening to Black or White or You Are Not Alone. Countless artists have sampled from the King himself and his voice, oh that squeal... undeniable. The most successful artist of all times.

Ask most younger R&B artist and their artist of inspiration. Undoubtedly, Michael Jackson will be listed. The dance world will never be the same without Michael Jackson and Thriller. The radio station will have very few music to choose from, without MJ.

Even I myself have performed some MJ's. Yeah, it was horrible, but I'd say it was my 'tribute' to the King. I remembered 'Heal The World, make it a better place' he said. I remembered 'If you wanna make the world, a better place, you gotta look at yourself and make that change - Man In The Mirror'.

It's a shame his life should end at such a low note. With the press and paparazzi picking on his every actions. Being sued, bankrupt, critised and the list goes on. I've always wished he'd make a big come back and then retire. I guess that's just life.

On another note, How did u guys celebrated your Father's day? I called home.. twice actually. And once during lunch and once during dinner. And both times, my dad was celebrating with the family. Once with the paternal side and another with the maternal side. So this means, more 'fathers' to wish. My dad likes to do this, in which he passes the phone around the table and i have to repeat my script in an extra jovial spirit:

"Hi uncle~ Happy father's day to you. Yes i'm adapting well here in India. No i do not speak tamil. No i dunno how to dance Jai Ho yet. No i haven dated Ashwarya Rai. No i do not shake my head and twist my hands when i converse."

Then pause for an intermittent rest before the phone get passed to the next father. FUNS.... not =.=

Taking The Chicken Dance To India~

Yesterday, the group of us went to the orphanage again. This time, i remembered the name, because i was suppose to 'lead' the group thr, since the seniors have other activities. Haha, we went to Nittur Girl's Orphanage with mostly juniors, except Vicky from my batch.But, it went pretty well, besides the fact that out of 4 kids i got, 2 refuse to talk to me =.= While the other two were so enthusiastic to write January to December over and over again. So yeah, i guess the kids kinda got adapted to this weekly event. All of them will be so excited waiting for us to come, and when they do, especially the younger ones will start waving and scream 'Hello~'.

For this week's game, because we didn't plan it well, since i was also damn kelam kabut, when i arrived and only 4 of us were there =s. So, the bigger kids played erm.. mother hen and eagle/fox game? While the smaller kids were forced (this is such a strong word.. more like, persuaded..threateningly) to do this. Being introduced to this dance, i asked many whether or not they know what a chicken is, they looked confused. After i perform my very life-like rooster sound, a little girl turned to me and said 'That's a cock'. Enjoy the vid:

Well, for the longest time, my lappie got virus. Hahahaha and yesh, all my frens have been saying my laptop is as infected as the owner =( sad sad~ So because of this virus, i can't access my hotmail, my blogger and basically most things that require password and stuff. And because of that, to blog or to Facebook i have to go to Seeteng's place (which is right next door la). And so yeah, probly thats why my posts have been erm decreasing, cuz i v paiseh mar =)

So, now.. LimC helped me to reformat my lappie, and it's cured now! =) kekeke thx so much ahliang~ ^_^ Hopefully, i'll b hardworking to blog la =) kekekeke~ oh ya, i'm down with cold.. my nose have been leaking =.= argh~

And hey! ahaha Seeteng has been playing my Restaurant City for me, and she got addicted to it badly, and hahaha =) she maxed the level and the dishes in about 1 month? ahahha i Dunno, she just got hooked onto the game, hahaha =) damn funny~

Hulur'ed My Kasih~

20 of us Huluran Kasih kasih member went to Karangor this evening to visit the Orphanage. It's an all girl's orphanage and the kids there are bout 7-17. And we're there to teach English. Hmmm paul asked me why should we teach them English.. I didn't rly think about it, but maybe cause they do not know how to speak English at all. For most of them, A for Apple is as foreign as 'Eredu makalu' to us. And i duinno, i guess English is an important language in a long run. So yeah, plus it's fun to accompany the kids for a weekend. This are my 2 students, Kumitha and Shilpa. And yes i forgot which is which. AHahaha, but one of them wanna b a lawyer, and another wanna be a teacher like me. =.= I'm not a teacher... hahaha oh well~

Now the kids here are very very friendly towards most of us. And they're so happy to see us. Which is really cool, except the communication barrier, everything was fine. And this girl right here, omg =.= she keeps beating me up to tk her pictures.. Ish~ Future Naomi Campbell Alert!!

And of course la.. People like me, always sin kan, so when do something good have to document it properly, so next time someone says, "Aaron, you're going to hell!" I can show them this pic! kakaka, this outta count for something right?

Ok, after the class, we played some games. My station played erm.. blindfolded kids running around finding stationeries on the floor hahaha =p Can u imagine? Such simple games can make these kids so happy. ANd here we are (at least i am), complaining that the aircon's not working or the internet is out of service.

The kids were kinda sad when we said we have to leave. Some were asking whether will we be there next weekend. Hmmm.. Chances are, we are =)

Huluran Kasih is a charity organisation established by the students of MMMC. What we do is basically provide a platform for students to help out. And so yeah, i rly hope more batchmates and college frens will join and contribute to them. And it's kinda sad that my batch has only 3 volounteers. So yeah~ I wanna urge more of you guys to help out. We have many many more events coming up =) We're still continuing the orphanage visits weekly, we have a hospital visit for terminal patients and also a visit to the AIDs Rehab center in Mangalore.

On friday, we went to Blue Waters to celebrate Lyvia's Bday. First time lor i go to club here in Manipal lor.. haha so boring the place here. but it wasi guess one of the better Bday celebration lar. The usual ones are like makan, sing song, den balik =p So, this was abit special =)
