Time To Leave~

Have u ever pack ur stuffs to go to somewhr, could be overseas to study or even for holidays. You got a mental list of things you must bring. Such as chargers, a specific outfit, something for someone, or your favourite sunnies. Then when u actually get down to pack, u will leave something behind..

haha. This almost ALWAYS happen to me. I left my glasses for one of my holidays, which was a shame, i was blind thru the whole trip. T_T

So as i'm mentally packing, i'm counting the number of shoes i'm bringing.. Hmmm.. I counted, 4 pairs. Then i counted the number of shoes i have in india, 4 pairs. So simple math will tell u, when i return in March, i'll have 8 pair of shoes to bring back.. Kanasai =.= This doesn't include flip flops sumore lor!! Sedih kan? T_T

As usual i'll make a list of things i wanna do when i'm in India also.. Like visiting the Taj, go ski-ing in Manali, cross over to Nepal and heli across Everest, ride an elephant across Delhi and all those.. But then the thought of sitting in trains and buses for 10s of hours and even more is just.. malasnye... I might go to the Taj just so everyone won't go 'What! You go all the way to india for almost 3 years and didn't see the Taj Mahal??'

Argh the lengths i go to please people... *flips hair*

Anyhoo.. this sunday, i'm flying off to Manipal d T_T sad sad... But i must say, this was a fun month. Also the month i spent the most (amount unable to be disclosed for security reasons) Sighs.. I haven packed yet.. and i dunwanna go back to manipal T_T

On a plus side! This will b the last time i'll b flying to india (fingers cross) muhahahahahaha! So happy... and u noe wat.. i DO miss my medies.. Just a little =) And they'd b lying if they say they dun miss me! =)

Had a great weekend~ Went up to Genting, for my 1st attempt in the casino. Was hoping to win about 6 figures with my 10 dollar note so i can buy over the Highlands. But unfortunately for my me, i donated my money pulak =.=

Went down to KL the next day, met up wit Dan gor, Serm, Alex & Jason for dinner at Delicious (which of course, is one of my definite stops everytime i come back. I went thr... 3 times d, this trip) and a drink at Finnegan's.
Oh ya~ Selamat Hari Raya everybody~~ =) What i did for the first day of Raya.. Haha was out the whole day with my family in Pyramid. Had char siew + siew yok rice for lunch. And Dinner at Shangri-La... Confirm tak halal~ =.=

So now, i just got back from all that buzz. And can sleep more d.. Back in my own bed.. =p Yay! Hmmm.. Should I go for Karaoke-ing? And if it rain later, it's not my fault k?

Row'd & Surf'd~

To continue my Bali adventures, Well, basically there's tonnes to do in Club Med. It's more like a exclusive sports complex. With loads of games from tennis to badminton, ping pong, basketball, squash, gyms, yogas, pilates, aqua robics, swimming pool, kayak, snorkeling, wind surfing, para gliding, volleyball and more. So if u're not into outdoorsy activities, Club Med is definitely not for you.

Look! hahahaha =p They even have this cute miniature ping pong table.. Which makes me look like a big ass giant =.=
We went kayaking.. But hor.. the waves are rly rly strong, so.. funny story, the 3 of us got stuck in the middle of the current. We just ketp spinning in circles for a good 20 minutes despite how hard we paddle to move closer to the shore. Until the sea guard come and scold us =.= Kanasai.... Looks like someone forgot their daily dose of happy pills.. Pffft~

We tried windsurfing too! They have classes la, by these Japanese guy.. He taught us the basics of windsurfing.. And yeah, so we decided to go in the waters to test our full potential.

Then....
I realise, windsurfing is not my thing.. I'll stick to sand castle building. =)
They also have a soccer pitch. And the thing is, CLub med Has alot of foreigners from all over the world. So the football match was consisting of like people from Japan, China, Malaysia, Singapore, Canada, Australia, Mauritius and some other un heard of country.

Ok.. So i was bored, i decided to attempt to make sushi.. Hahahaha But it didn't have those erm.. fancy raw fish, cuz hor.. i dun dare to make it myself, wait whole family diarrhea damn susah kan?

So i made erm, rice wine shitake's and tempura carrots.. Ok fine.. it didn't turn out like what u'd see in Kampachi or Shogun or infact any existing sushi house. Kakaka. Dun laugh at me! Bleks!

hahahaha. I noe right?? Looks stupid =p nevermind.. not that u guys get to eat also.. My dogs love it anyhows =p

ANd by my dogs i mean, i ate everything, and left nothing for my dogs..

If u're wondering what's to see in Club Med Bali, well, here's some pix i took to take u guys on a tour around the village. Of course the main attraction is well.. the guy above la. wakakakak~ ok la not rly.. That's the pre-tan me.. =)
The village is surrounded by lush greeneries, with trees and grass everywhr.. So, the morning air is crisp and fresh.. And yes.. i do wake up in the morning thr. I'm not missing my buffet breakfast damnit! =)
The general theme is obviously Balinese, with this cute little lanterns everywhr =) I so gonna have a Balinese styled home next time lor
This is the trapeze set they have, you can actually go and play it. They have people to teach you how to trapeze =) I didn't go la.. cuz i noe i'll just die and pee in my pants =.=
I came across this bamboo bush.. So nice lor.. haha.

Note: Standing next to a bamboo makes everyone look fat-ter~ T_T

They have this pond surrounding this lounge area which i think is sooooo sexy lor.. And the bright colored pillows and sofa contrasting the grey stones is so the lawa lor.. time to renovate my house~ lalalla
This is like erm.. a red room in the middle of fields, covered by red curtains.. Very very sexy also =) hahaha. ANd got ppl make out inside.. Ok la, i didn't see la, but i assume there are.. =.=
The swimming pool over looking the restaurant and the boutique. The pool is open 24 hours de lor.. And the water is heated. Kekeke. So, one things for sure, nothing shrinks when u jump in it. =) What were you thinking! Argh! Pervs!!! Moving on~
The night view is definitely, a romantic, resort feel to it. With warm lights along the pathways. Lantern and their orange glows and their orange glow's reflections.
I dunno lor.. it makes everything seem very peaceful and tranquil.. And everyone walks slower than usual.. Even the Singaporeans... ^^
Water is another key element in the village. With ponds and fountains.. The ponds are filled with lily pads where as the fountain got alot of frogs =.= Sien.. *ribbit*
And of course, what is Bali without the beach. So yeah, CLub Med has their own beach which is not the best beach. There's alot of corals on their shore. And cuz of the strong waves, the area that is safe to play in is kinda small lor. And also the water very disturbed.. so murky...
What's a beach without them coconut trees~ Right? Hahaha. So yea, there's tonnes of coconut trees everywhr =p
Got this very friendly squirrel actually. Hahaha. And it likes my younger bro. Every morning he'll come find my bro and he'll give it a potato chip. Haha Who knew squirrels love chips more than berries. And yes we did experiment. We place a chip and a blue berry. It went to the chip everytime =) And keeps coming back for more ^^ CUTE!

Basically ppl who come to Club Med doesn't leave the place. Haha So they have their own little souvenir shop and boutique. Which is a very smart idea, because they have all these themes that changes everyday. And their boutique will display those items. Like on Club Med T-shirt day, there are tonnes of people buying those tees lor.. Keke. Smart ppl~

Flying Off~

After a few day's in KL, i met my family for a little surprise holiday. Well, it was intentioned to be a surprised trip actually, but i asked my friend who's working in MAS to cross reference my passport number and found out that i was going to Denpasar.. aka.. BALI~ lol!

The thing is, all we knew was we're going to Bali. We have no idea where we're staying, wat are we doing or whatsoever. So, with nothing much to expect other than the beach and the sun, it's rather exciting. Keke. I was craving for a filet-o-fish from nights before. Finally, got my fixed in the KLIA's Mc'D. Woots!


Look! hahaa I'm not in most of the pix T_T cuz i'm the cameraman. *sob sob* But nvm la, my younger bro looks like me, haha can pretend that's me =)
I've never been to Bali. I've been to Indonesia, but not Bali. Keke. After 2 hours and 40 minutes in the air, we arrived at Denpasar Airport. We got driven to this gorgeous paradise, Club Med Bali.. It's nothing like I've imagine. It is so fairy-tale like. The interior, the decor, the extremely jovial hosts. Everyone there is smiling.. And they keep greeting everyone they see. Which is so un-Malaysian, since we usually are bitter and angry for no apparent reason =.=


So, we were taken for a short tour around the village, which is 14 acres. I dunno how many metres that is, but it is HUGE! Even to walk from the reception to our room also tired d.. We have to walk across this gorgeous lily pad pond, filled with fishes and occasional monitor lizards... =)

Came back in the afternoon after returning from Jusco. And if u're guessing, let me save u thr trouble, I went to buy groceries. =) Hahaha. Bought some strawberries and some japanese soy sauce and rice and some seaweed. But i've decided not to cook til my maid arrives. Argh~ the cleaning up part is a serious pain the ass.
Went around the house with the Sony-alpha, and kepo-ing here and thr. I like how holding a big camera makes u look erm 'pro'. And also makes u look like those bandwagon-ing sea and sea of bloggers. You'll see them. In fact, u've see them. This will be the group of people who travels in pack. They carry their DSLR everywhr they go. And they love sushi. They'll b in a restaurant and taking turns to snap photos of the food. Then they'll blog about it with labels =)
Tell me you haven meet any of them. Haha. Tell me you haven't done that! Right? Those famous nyonya kuehs in Melaka, or the char kuey teow in Penang, or the pig-shaped pau's in shops. Haha I'm sure many of us are guilty. I've done it before lor~ i admit~ =p Bleks!

Just cause you own a DSLR it doesn't mean u're a photographer. That's all I'm saying =p But it's still fun tho to take photos of everything you eat, before eating it. The suspense ~ lol

ANYHOO, i'm going to KL tmr~ ^^ Yay me! ANd then going for holidays on Thurs~ Heheh So funs =p I love family trips.. Cuz i'm sure not many ppl do trips with their families anymore, which is a shame. 1- I bring news from the East. I cut my hair, if u noticed. But my dad, being a typical uncle, always complain, saying why i waste 45 bucks cutting my hair, when my hair is still long. Ish.. Kekeke. nevermind, let him nag, i swipe with his card anyways~ =)
2 - Went to watch UP with mum, younger bro and his gf. Hehehe. What a funny movie.. kekekekeke. But the cineplex was soooo cold lor.. Everyone was shivering.. ahhaa luckily my Mum brought along the indian scarf i bought her to keep her warm. I wonder how many helium balloon it'll take to lift my fat ass =.=
3 - Going to KL this weekend.. sexcited~ It's going to b a super fun trip.. Hahaha wait.. i haven plan yet la.. Kekeke. But can't wait to meet my friends ^^ Then going to for a family trip to a secret location =) Hahaha cn't waits! So much packing to do again~ Hahaha.
4 - My 2nd year MBBS results just came out this evening. And blessedly, i passed all four subjects. Hahah. I almost didn't believe it. So erm, a list of people i wanna thank. But i'll do it some other time. I just wanna congratulate all my dear friends who succeeded. And to my other dear friends who didn't make it thru this hurdle, keep ur heads up!
