What does a bunch of zombies eat?

Last night our dance team finally celebrated our hardwork and sweat and tears. Not so much tears la.. but u get the point. It was supposed to be potluck-ish. Hahaha but it turned out to be more like.. my cook masak only =.=
So yeah, Kelvin brought some fruits, Minnyin made some jelly, Yeechin made 'gui lian gao' the tortoise shell jelly, and i made mushroom soup. But of course, the star of the night was...
The STAR shape cake! (no pun intended) Yeah~ Hehehe courtesy of OurCakeHouse~ This is the 3-tiered cake of Chocolate, Butter and Carrot Walnut.
This, my fave~ Caramel Apple with vanilla frosting.. Sinful i tell u!! And got all our names written on it, it took us half an hour to cut the cake.. tak sampai hati no? =(

The night was filled with high calorie food, lots of sugar tonnes of camwhoring and super noisiness... =) And as a side effect of the sugar high.. Everyone was chattier than normal... Hahahahah~

Giving Back

Asha Nilaya is a Rehab Centre for mentally challenged kids in Udupi. As part of our Community Medicine posting, we're to spend half a day with the kids. So we did an orientation tour, to look around the area, and to plan how our trip is going to be.. You see, Asha Nilaya is not funded by the government, and most of the parents of this kids are labourers, which means minimal wage.

The home depends on the church's donation and also from fellow volounteers. Some of the parents could only afford to donate 50 rupees (that's like RM3.80) per month for their child to receive shelter, education and care. Sad kan? =(
Our chirpy team.. Hahaha We're the most relek team ever lor.. We super malas to do anything punya.. Hahhaa whr as other teams would fight to present or take cases.. Mine would prefer to take a nap =)
During our visit, we entered a handicraft room. The kids there were taught to make simple Xmas cards. I saw it as an oppurtunity and asked the guardian to allow us to take those cards back to Manipal and sell it to our people, also since we can afford to pay slightly more for these cards.
True enough, Batch 21 didn't disappoint, all the 80 cards were sold off within 10 minutes.. And some even asked me to bring in more cards. Great job u guys~ So proud of all of us~

2009 MMMC Interbatch Western Dance Group

Featuring yours truly =) hahaha. ok la.. i did mistakes here n thr =) akak but super fun~ hope u guys enjoy it as much as i enjoyed doing it~

Oops.. We Did It Again!

This interbatch dance comp was the most dramatic ever! The dates kept changing.. In fact we only knew the event was this evening at 4pm today itself. And half of us were stuck in a 50minute away village hospital.

There was alot of arguing about the dates and the venue.. There were tonnes of backstabbing and un-class act of bitching. I'm not mentioning names because u noe very well who you are.

With that said, in the midst of our panic and frantic.. we manage to pull it off! Once again! We are the winner of interbatch 2009! Yeah!!! kekekek~ all my swollen knee and bruised body =)

This was alot of fun.. And of course in between we fought alot argued alot.. I've force alot of them to kept doing the steps over n over again despite them feeling tired and their knees are trembling. Rangoli and Clay Makin'

Yesterday, was some cultural events for the interbatch 09. So i participated in Clay Modeling despite knowing nothing about it. Hahah i tot it's like playdoh =( The soft gooey texture. Manatau... It's so lumpy, cracky and un-stretchy.. Hahah.

Anyway, rangoli is wat u see above.. Pouring colored sand to make a picture. Which looks kinda fun also.. Hehe~

This team did a Leaning tower of Pisa which i tot was pretty awesome, partly cuz the clay's a bitch to work wit.. Hahah However their leaning tower leaned too much and tumbang.. And then it became ThiS!!My initial idea was to do a giant octopus.. But someone else was doing it also. Then i wanted to do a human face.. while moulding it, it looks like a lion, and then a horse, and then a dog =.= So watever la.. i did a flower... =.= LAME right? WAKAKAKAK

Seeteng and i punya final product. hahaha. Of course i drag seeteng along la.. she's the only one who can stand my constant change of plans. Partly because i didnt have any. So everytime people pass by my area they see lumps and lumps of random things... But out flower thingy.. ok lar.. 1st time doing it.. Tho it's tiny.. Others all giant size =) we didnt win anyways. still, kakakaka funs ^^
For rangoli however, our batch got first, second and third places =) Wakakakaka. so geng sial~~~!! This was the winning piece.

Kekeke. But right after tat went for dance practise til midnight.. my whole body is aching now=(
